Care Groups

The Care Group ministry of Immanuel exists to glorify God by placing every member in a small group context where they are can “stir one another up to love and good works” (Heb 10:24), encourage one another (Heb 10:25), give mutual care to one another (Eph 4:11—16), apply God’s Word to their real-life experiences (James 1:22), and share in the joys of Christian fellowship with others. Care Groups are one of the many blessings that members of Immanuel enjoy. They are small groups of men and women who gather on second and fourth Lord's Day evenings of each month for the purpose of experiencing Biblical fellowship, meaningful relationships, and practical care. Care Groups are also an opportunity for the Christian life lived in community to be displayed and observed by the watching world. We encourage Care Groups to invite the friends and neighbors in order to display the attractive community love that Christ Himself would testify to the truth of the Gospel (John 13:35). Care Groups are an integral and important aspect of membership at Immanuel.

All new members are immediately placed in a Care Group following completion of their membership interview with an elder.
