Immanuel Baptist Church will be hosting a conference on Christian missions toward Muslims on November 14th and 15th, 2008. Read on to find out more information about the conference or register now if you're ready to join us.

Main Speaker

Georges Houssney, Director of Horizons International, is a Christian Lebanese evangelist, pastor and teacher. He is a husband and father of three boys and a daughter - all whom love God and have joyfully served alongside Georges in ministry. Georges' ministry, since his youth, has been marked by boldness and wisdom. The Lord has used Georges to accomplish a critical Arabic Bible translation in Egypt, as well as evangelistic and training ministries in over 90 countries. Georges is marked by a deep love for God and people. Georges desires to see local churches equipped by the Scriptures so that they can be faithful witnesses both abroad and in the States to boldly and wisely evangelize Muslims, to make disciples and establish Christ-centered churches.

Location of the Conference

The conference will be held at Immanuel Baptist Church in Louisville, KY. You can find us using our online map and driving directions or by using our contact form.

Price

$15 single, $25 couple/family. Payment can be made via PayPal after registration or by mailing a check made payable to Horizons International. Please mail the checks to Immanuel Baptist Church at our listed address with ATTN: Nov Conference. We do not want money to be an issue for those wishing to attend, so please contact us prior to registration if we need to make special arrangements for your attendance.

Childcare

Our preference is for you to arrange your own childcare. If you need us to provide childcare, please specify this on the registration form so we have adequate time to recruit volunteers. Childcare will only be available for those who register on or before Monday, Nov. 3rd.

Food

The cost of the conference does not include food. On Saturday we encourage people to fellowship over meals between 12 - 3 PM and 5 - 7 PM. Please bring food or money so that you can spend time with other folks during these times. We will provide a list of area restaurants.

Lodging

If you are coming in from out of town, you have two options: (1) Area hotels, or (2) Stay with a family from IBC. Because of limited space for option 2, then please register as soon as possible if you would like to stay with a family. We will try to accommodate as many as possible. Registration Deadline

There is no deadline. We will accept registration on the day of the conference as long as we have space. However, please register as soon as you can so that we know how many people are committed to coming. If you do need lodging or childcare, you will want to register as soon as you can, because space and helpers are limited. Registering as soon as possible will enable us to serve you well during your time at the conference. Thank you.
