Somali Ministry
Immanuel takes seriously its call to preach the Gospel abroad, but also in our own neighborhood and nation. This happens in various ways and specifically in these ministries:

Louisville is blessed to have several thousand Somali refugees who have settled in our city. Our Somali Outreach seeks opportunities to make friends among them, to find ways to serve them and love them as Christ has loved us, and to be very intentional in sharing the gospel with them and calling them to repentance and faith in Christ. These families have had little exposure to the clear message of the grace of God in Christ, but by that grace that is changing. We pray that he will bring to pass a harvest of believers as they begin to see Jesus as more than just another prophet, but as the very Son of God who gave his life to save us from our sins.
