We urgently need more helpers for the upcoming Kids Club (follow-up to VBS). It will be at Immanuel from 5-6:45 on Wednesday, July 8th (this upcoming Wednesday).
There will be a Co-ed Baby Shower for Joey and Michelle Eaton on Saturday, August 1st at 2pm at the home of Brian and Alyssa Miller (1713 Applewood Ln. 40222). The Eatons are registered at Target. Please R.S.V.P. by Saturday, July 25th.
During the month of July the pastors will be preaching on the topic of adoption. After service on Sunday, July 19th there will be a luncheon for those interested in learning more about adoption.
We will be taking our final 2009 Disaster Relief trip to Lakeshore MS August 1-8. Lakeshore Baptist is moving forward with their permanent building and there are still hundreds of families in the area not in homes. Please consider taking the time to come down and help this sister church rebuild their community. There is a sign-up sheet in the back of the church.
On Saturday mornings from 7-9AM there is an average of 25 babies killed in downtown Louisville and this ministry exists to stop this horrific practice. Please join us as we go to the local abortion clinic to plead with women walking in not to go through with the abortion.
