We emphasize worship that feeds the soul through the following two distinctives:

1. Worship by the Word – We believe that the Word of God is our only guide in our worship together. And we marvel that the ways God has commanded us to worship Him lead us to do two things at once. All of the ways God calls us to worship Him both glorify Him, and feed our souls. As we read the Word, pray the Word, sing the Word, and do the Word God is honored and our souls are fed.

2. Worship from All Over The World - At Immanuel we are constantly trying to do justice to two things in our worship. First we want to honor the fact that for thousands of years God has been leading his people to praise Him in songs and hymns and spiritual songs. Because of this we want to incorporate the great hymns & confessions into our worship together. On top of this we believe that God is always gathering a people from every tribe, and tongue, and nation to himself. Because of this we long to see the songs of all the diverse peoples God is gathering in our corporate worship.
