Welcome!

You are indeed 'welcome', but I have to admit that even as I write the word 'welcome' I feel pretty strange. How do you welcome someone to a website? It's kind of like welcoming someone to your house when you're not home, it feels pretty strange. So I think I would like to say, 'you're invited'. Through this website we invite you to get to know us. As you browse around, we hope you will begin to get an idea of who we are, what we believe, and what we do. We hope as you look around it will be obvious to you that we are all about Jesus Christ! Redeemed by Him is who we are! His Word is what we believe, and following Him is what we seek to do. So 'you're invited' to look around, and our hope is that as you do, you will get to know Him better.

While you are here let me give you one more invitation. We would like you to join us when we gather on Sunday mornings. As one Pastor once said, the best way to get to know us is to, "marinate with us." We would love to invite you to spend time with us and to marinate with us. Whether you have been a Christian since before you can remember, or you have no desire to ever be a Christian, we would love to spend time with you, listening to God's Word, and maybe getting to know one another after the service, or even over lunch. If you know anything about the life of Jesus, then you know that he got to know all kinds of people through spending time with them. He shared God's Word with rebellious people and religious people, and he shared meals with prostitutes, tax collectors, religious types, and His close followers. So please come and spend time with us as we slowly but surely seek to become a community from all cultures where Christ is King.
